I hope this reading finds you well.
I hope you are curled up on a window seat wearing a baggy sweater with a fuzzy blanket draped about you. I hope the trees outside are bending in the wind, and rain is splattering against the window, making small pattering noises with each raindrop.
I hope the sky is a light grey color with a hint of winter, and Jack Frost is breathing down your warm neck. I hope the coffee cup that has steam swirling lazily out of out stays warm long enough for you to remember it, and to sip it down.
I hope that you're reading position never gets cramped, because it's too cozy to move from. I hope nothing calls you from this scene and beckons you into harsh reality. And I hope most of all that this post has brought back a glimmer of bygone rainy reading days.
